P-51

The first three pictures are of my P-51D.  It is a Topflight kit.  The wing span is 60", the engine is a K & B .60 inverted, there are six servos.  The plane has operating flaps.  This is a real speedster and flys great.  The nose art is 4 Ace playing cards.  The covering is ultracote.  Landing gear are fixed. I have had some trouble keeping the custom muffler from coming off in flight.  A little JB Weld has solved the problem.  This kit is no longer available.  The wing is full scale.
The engine runs good in it's inverted position.  This plane is fun to take to the flying field--gets good attention from fellow flyers.
